Our School

  • WHAT DOES THE GOVERNING BOARD DO?

The role of a the Governing Board of any academy is to provide strategic leadership and to hold the academy to account for overall performance. Amongst other things the Governing Board will agree to the following:

  • Aims and ethos
  • Policies
  • Priorities for development
  • The annual budget
  • Confirm the curriculum on offer
  • Receive reports on performance and act as a critical friend
  • Oversee the condition and safety of the site

At Lutterworth High School we have a Governing Board who take a great interest in the school and who take on areas of particular interest.
